Patrick Stewart stars in HAMLET: THE MACRO SUMMARY

For those of you who haven't seen Patrick Stewart as Claudius in the Royal Shakespeare Company's Hamlet, you missed his freakin' GQMF awesomeness. The dude just exuded sneaky evilness. Oh, and David Tennant is flippin' amazing as well. This production is my favorite version of Hamlet, for realsies.



And so in honor of Sir Patrick Stewart's role and for those of you who haven't been able to see it/are too lazy to watch all three hours of the play and because I am addicted to making macro stories, I present you with a macro parody summary of Hamlet.

They're both astounding. Tennant really owns the part, and it's great to see his subtle side. And of course Patrick Stewart's amazing. Duh.

I love all of the interludes especially, and the end bit! OH MAN. I cannot stop laughing! Oh, and the "SUP SON" "D8" bit had me cracking up. And Princess Bride line for the win!

..is this on video? DVD? Something? I have like.. nine versions of Hamlet. I'm always up for more. I love that play. Did a senior thesis on his portrayal of mental illness and how his reception/treatment by people differed from societal and cultural norms of the period.

I'll admit, it's not my favorite rendition of Hamlet (Tennant's emo!Hamlet faces reminded me too much of Tennant's emo!Doctor faces, which made me laugh and ruined it), OMG THE ACTING CHOPS LOOK AT THEM.
