That being said, the spoiler warning policy has no longer any reason to be in effect.
I realize the spoiler policy was probably made obsolete after about a month after the UK release (FOUR MONTHS AGO), but I really wanted to respect even the minority who was restricted from access to the movie by crazy geographical/marketing reasons (been there, done that). And I gotta hand it to you all, you did amazing! Best community members ever, hell yeah!
In conclusion, dear members who haven't seen the movie (by choice or not) this community will now be spoilerific everywhere, including titles and body of posts NOT UNDER A CUT. Therefore if you wish to filter out this community now is the time to do so. Everyone else...
Hi All! I was lucky enough to go to a presentation by Brian Miller (Paramount Senior VP) on the new Star Trek Video Game last night at the London Science Museum. A lot more info was released - as well as a live demo and the chance to play. I took some (spoilery!) notes, so find them and some pics behind the cut.

First time posting on LJ in forever, so please excuse any mistakes!

The last days, refreshing Mozilla and searching for more exclusive interviews which had been conducted in different languages, and following Startrek with using Japanese, I came across this page.
Interviews with JJ, Zach and more.
All the following "mega picspam" is the result of wenting into kneedeep research using Katakana a.s.o. The pages rolled.
you should try too. There`s so much hidden in the worldwide online depths of the internet.
I really love the Interviews, and fangirls blogs of Chris.
I checked ontd_startrek about premiere fotos, exclusive JJ`s, or anything close related and if I missed something, I`m sorry.
But I decided to share these for me unknown pictures here, better as to keep all for self.
Have Fun, maybe I inspired some ideas.
ps: I really love what they did with Spock in the upper picture, how they added him into that frame!!!
Can ontd_startrek do something similiar? Please??? For the Banner?
I always miss Zach in there!!!

Yesterday, my friends and I went to a screening of Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home at Paramount Studios, sponsored by the California State Parks Commission. A totally amazing experience watching ST: IV on the big screen FROM THE ORIGINAL FILM REELS FROM THE 1980s! They had a "previously on Star Trek" segment in the beginning and a different title sequence oozing with 1980s flair. Plus, it was just that much more exciting seeing the film the way it was supposed to be seen -- on a huge screen and rumbling with surround sound.
Oh, and afterwards there was a Q&A with the illustrious director himself! Who is Leonard Nimoy. (If you didn't know that, Vulcan nerve pinch yourself right now.) My friend was awesome enough to record the whole thing on her camera and upload it to YouTube, and she gave me permission to post it here. Credit for the videos goes to Stella Cao!
Sorry the sound quality isn't the best. I recorded a couple clips myself, and they all turned out the same because of the echo in the auditorium.
( Rest of the vids after the jump!!!Collapse )

Just think, he could take what Ben Affleck did when he tried to do a reboot and... reboot it MORE. *flail*
( Joining the ranks of previous Jack Ryans?Collapse )
MORE: Chris Pine negotiates to reprise Jack Ryan role for Paramount reboot American author Chris Pine is in talks with Paramount Pictures to portray CIA analyst Jack Ryan in a reboot of films starring the action hero, according to the movie studio. American actors Alec Baldwin, Harrison Ford and Ben Affleck have all portrayed Jack Ryan in several Hollywood films, including The Hunt for Red October (1990), Patriot Games (1992), and Clear and Present Danger (1994). The Jack Ryan character stems from a popular novel series by American author Tom Clancy. It is currently unclear whether Pine will begin this reboot of the Paramount series before or after reprising the role of Lt. James T. Kirk in a sequel to the 2009 summertime blockbuster Star Trek.

It seems Blind Dating is finally getting a UK release and if you head over to the Apollo Cinema at Piccadilly Circus from the 18th September you can even see it on the big screen! (This appears to be an exclusive for Apollo Cinemas and only in London - but don't quote me on that).
Needless to say dj_intheukand I will be going to
But hey, that's not all - check out the hideous tag line in the poster (... if you can't read it, put your cursor over the pic):
