Pinto Party Hats -- Out Again???

They just can't figure out what the truth is, huh?
Sounds like BB Fine might have made a bit of a mistake this time, though, and Munn didn't like it.

It's over.

E! News has learned exclusively that Star Trek star
Chris Pine and actress/Attack of the Show host Olivia Munn have called it quits. The couple had been dating since August.

Sources tell E! News that things went south on Saturday morning for the couple, who had just enjoyed
a romantic dinner at West Hollywood restaurant Madeo on Thursday night followed by partying at club Voyeur.
So what went wrong?

A source close to the couple says that Munn "was shocked and upset" when she learned Pine
had been seen out with blonde actress Nathalie Walker Friday night at Hollywood's Roger Room.

A source says Pine reached out to Munn, who arrived in Sundance Friday, on the phone Saturday morning to apologize, but she wasn't having any of it.

"She wouldn't answer his calls and ended up texting him, telling him to leave her alone—forever," said the source.

When contacted late Saturday, Munn's rep declined to comment on the story.

E! News is reaching out to Pine for comment.

1] being a classy GQMF, and

2] porn.

Like I said, we just launched, so we're still trying to get the word out - so get on down there and offer/request everything ST-related you just didn't think the world would understand at help_haiti. 'Cos it's okay, bbs. We understand.

Orci And Kurtzman Discuss Star Trek 2 Setting And Villain

U guise! I got this from comicbookmovie.com and idk if anything similar has been posted here yet. But I reckon you might want to read this & discuss! (Mods, obviously delete if this is old news. But I don't remember seeing it here, so..)

The Star Trek and ROTF (we are letting them away with that one!) writing team mentioned the new direction the Trek sequel will take, and although they don't come out and reveal the villain, they do, once again, name check a certain Shatner botherer from an earlier movie.. KHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAN!...

In a Q&A session in Beverly Hills, Roberto Orci and Alex Kurtzman gave a few more hints about their take on a Trek sequel, and reveal it will have a villain as its main focus. On the setting for the story, Orci explained..

"We would never do a remake....it will be some time in the five-year mission. But that is a question. Should we pick them up immediately the next day or should it be later, we are still discussing that."

And Kurtzman says the villain will be hugely significant in the follow-up..

"I think our idea on this is that the first of any series is about them coming together or the formation. I couldn't really tell you what Jeff Bridges was doing in Iron Man, but it doesn't matter at all because it is all about Iron Man becoming Iron Man.

"Whereas I think sequels are very much about the villain. Because while [in the first one] the villain serves to bring the crew together, the second one I think has to be a true challenging of what that family is about. That is why Wrath of Khan was so amazing. Khan tested each one of them and ultimately asked for the ultimately sacrifice, and that is why that movie held up so well."

Apparently both writers are feeling the pressure of delivering a sequel that lives up to expectations after the very well received first movie. Orci said..

"Frankly I feel more pressure because we were so confident when we came up with the idea of how to bridge canon, and yet free ourselves from canon. Now we have no excuses for anything, now we are free. Now we don't have the benefit of low expectations."

As for dream projects, Kurtzman said: "I would like to take a run at Indiana Jones, but that is a pretty closed door, so not sure that is ever going to happen." Orci joked that they would like to remake Star Wars (lets not even joke about that one boys!)

Fans have been pretty divided over whether they want to see Khan (previously played by the late Ricardo Montalbán, he first appeared in the 1967 TV episode Space Seed and returned in the 1982 movie Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan) return or go with a completely new character never seen in either the series or the movies. Personally I think that since its supposed to be a new time line that a new version of Khan would be great..although I do understand the desire to see something brand new too. What do you folks think?

Sauce: comicbookmovie.com

Soooo.. Do you think they actually mentioned The Wrath of Khan thing as a hint that the new villain might actually be Khan? And would you agree on him (or another TOS villain), or prefer a shiny new one?

Has no one posted this yet?

I was looking at the SAG Awards website and looking at who won. I didn't even think Star Trek was nominated for anything but lo and behold, they were (well, kinda).

SAG Honors for Stunt Ensembles

Outstanding Performance by a Stunt Ensemble in a Major Motion Picure:

People are finally recognizing the brilliance that is Star Trek! (Though I'm still not sure what exactly it means by stunt ensemble and I get the feeling it's not that great, but that's OK! We still won!)
