J.J. Abrams and the Power List

I didn't see this posted anywhere else so I figured I might as well
do it. TV GUIDE MAGAZINE has released its 2010 Power List of the 25 Most
Influential People in Television. On that list: J.J. Abrams.

This is what it had to say about Abrams:

The king of smart, intricately plotted TV, Abrams-whose creations
include Lost, Alias, and Fringe-is one of Hollywood's highest paid and
most respected talents. His track record is so impressive that a new
Abrams idea whips network execs into a frenzy, as evidenced by the
intense bidding war that broke out over his latest offering, the
married spies dramedy Undercovers. While he's currently collaborating
with idol Steven Speilberg on the thriller "Super 8" the genial Emmy
winner remains committed to TV, which he calls "more exciting than
ever to be involved in. In many ways, it's more fertile ground than
features." The key to being an innovator, says Abrams, is following
your gut: "I think you have to do what moves you. The disaster is to
look at things from the point of view of 'What would the audience
want?' You have to be the audience."

To show just what kind of influence we are dealing with, some of
the people included on the list are: Steve Jobs, John Stewart, Oprah
Winfrey, Seth MacFarlane, Simon Cowell, and Neil Patrick Harris.

This is great, congrats J.J. on the honor. llap.
